Case Study: Davidsons Liquors Website

You may already be familiar our client Davidsons Liquors, as we’ve discussed them on multiple occasions is the past. We’re proud to announce that last month we launched the all new, much anticipated ecommerce website that we had been working on for Davidsons in the latter half of this year.

Not only is the new site a huge step up for Davidsons from a visual standpoint — their old website was using outdated branding, and an outdated platform — but is a huge leap forward in user-ability, technology, and overall function. With Davidsons Liquors’ new user-friendly site, customers experience improved product searching and filtering, easier checkout, and an overall streamlined shopping experience compared to before. Customers can search for nearly every product available in stock at Davidsons and choose convenient in-store pickup or have items shipped directly to their door.

Site health and performance is up substantially compared to the previous site. In looking at the first month of the new site’s activity compared to the previous month’s (old site) activity, we can see vast improvements across the board — a 103% increase in overall visits to the site, a 109% increase in users to the site, a 147% increase in page views, a 21% increase of page visits per session, a .3% increase in visit duration, and a 14% decrease in bounce rate.

Because the new site is optimized for all devices — an absolute must in today’s phone and tablet driven society — we’re seeing a huge increase in improvements to site traffic from mobile & tablet users. There has been a 113% increase in mobile user sessions (123% from tablets), and improvements in all mobile/tablet visitor stats — improved session duration, page views, bounce rates, etc.

The site is also seeing major increases to its acquisition sources. Organic search traffic is up 127%, direct traffic is up 77%, and referral traffic is up 105%.

Overall, the new website we built for Davidsons is performing really well. There’s no doubt that this launch has been a huge success, and that Davidsons will be seeing increased revenue from online sales due to the new site.  A special thanks to Davidsons Liquors for their business, support, and continued faith in FiG!

Project Launch: Primeflex Website!

As you may recall, Primeflex designs and prints custom labels and packaging mainly for consumer products, but with a specialization in flexible packaging solutions.  FiG began working with Primeflex a few months ago on a few collateral pieces, a new website and SEO!  Primeflex old website served them well for years but it was time for an upgrade.

They were looking for an updated, sleek design that would appeal to the designers of prospective companies, so FiG redesigned the site playing off the current logo design.  The Unique Solutions are now displayed in a more user friendly way, allowing easy click through and examples of each type of printing.  The site is also responsive, making it easy to view no matter what type of device you are using.

We are excited to have this great new website launched!  Now that the site is live, we will be moving full speed into the Search Engine Optimization portion of this project.  Stay tuned for additional results!

New Client Announcement: StaffScapes

FiG is pleased to announce our new relationship with StaffScapes!

The Client (Staffscapes):

StaffScapes is a PEO, or Professional Employer Organization.  They work as an employers outsourced  firm for Human Resources, payroll, safety, benefits, and much more.  StaffScapes stays up to date with compliance, policies, rules and regulations so business owners can to put their time and energy into growing their business.  StaffScapes offers a personal touch to this often impersonal business and allows their clients the opportunity to personalize the services they need.

The Project:

FiG will be creating a new website for StaffScapes.  The current site lacks flow and functionality, so we will be working to create a more consistent brand throughout the site, clarifying their message and creating easier navigation.  FiG will also be assisting with Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, as well as developing and implementing a Social Media Strategy.

New Client: Rocky Mountain Life Savers

FiG is pleased to announce our new relationship with Rocky Mountain Life Savers!

The Client:

Rocky Mountain Life Savers offers customized CPR, first aid and AED training courses.  They are able to customize training to meet their clients needs, serving individuals with community classes as well as training sessions for corporate clients or larger groups.  All RMLS staff maintain current certifications and bring a collective 40 plus years of healthcare experience and expertise to their clients.

Sue Kardon, founder and owner, has been a registered nurse for over 20 years as well as a CPR provider and trainer throughout those years.  She has experienced performing CPR outside of the healthcare setting multiple times and is passionate about training others to save lives.

The Project:
Rocky Mountain Life Savers came to FiG in need of a website that better reflected their purpose and vision.  We will be redesigning the companies current website, with the goal of reflecting the knowledge and capabilities of RMLS to their current and potential clients.  FiG will as also be assisting with designing marketing material to supplement the site.  A large portion of the project will also  include copywriting, making sure Rocky Mountain Live Savers is speaking to the right audience and in the right way.
