Advertising Agency Deep Dives Gatorade's 2024 NFL Season Campaign

As the 2024 NFL season begins, Gatorade has thrown its hat into the high value sports advertising ring with a bold new campaign that aims to electrify fans and athletes alike. But what exactly makes their "You Know We Got 'IT'" campaign stand out in a sea of sports marketing? Gatorade, a long-time leader in the sports drink market, knows that capturing the spirit of competition requires more than just catchy phrases and vibrant visuals. With the stakes higher than usual during the NFL season, our advertising agency is noticing that this new campaign seeks to resonate not just with pro players pushing their limits, but also with fans and current athletes of diverse backgrounds.

BodyArmor released four 30-second spots on Wednesday that take aim at Gatorade, the sports drink giant. Featuring NBA, WNBA, and MLB stars, each spot depicts an ironically outdated scenario (from 80s workout classes to carrier pigeons) that poke fun at Gatorade's outdated product. Each spot closes with the line, “Thanks Gatorade, we'll take it from here.”

With the 2016 Summer Rio Olympics at a close, we decided it was only right to feature one of the many great Olympic advertisements this month. “Never Lose the Love,” is a 70-second spot from Gatorade featuring some of our favorite Olympic athletes. These elite athletes have a particular dedication to their sport that goes beyond grit and commitment; they have a true love for their sport.
