A Little Bit Of History
Back in the fall of 2013, Creative Treatment Options (otherwise known as CTO) hired FiG for a new website design and some branding support. While their business has been successfully treating patients since 1997, the licensed counselors at CTO realized they needed a more well-rounded digital presence in place to support their business online. They then approached FiG, a Denver website-design company, to build a custom site design for CTO from scratch. Our site designers were more than happy to help.
Originally the CTO site was to be utilized as an information hub for potential clients. The site design emphasized user-friendly navigation, so that visitors could easily and quickly find information on treatments, programs, classes, and much more. Our site designers made sure the site was mobile-friendly, had responsive design elements, and was aesthetically aligned with the CTO brand. We capped off the custom site design with a robust foundation of SEO on every page of the site.
On top of our site project, we additionally assisted CTO with their branding by updating their company logo with a refreshed modern design. With the completion of a sleek new logo and a state-of-the-art site, our original partnership with CTO wrapped up at the end of 2013.
Our New Project: Redesigning A Custom Website
Over 5 years have passed since our original project with CTO and now we’re beginning to work on a second site redesign project. Internet design trends change annually and sites are constantly evolving, it’s wise to update your company site every few years. In fact, experts at Medium and other web design professionals across the industry agree that most sites should be redesigned every 2-3 years or so. Of course, there are exceptions to this rule and site upgrade cycles can vary by the company and the industry.
As we revamp the CTO website, our main focus will be on improving the user experience. We’ll start out by restructuring the entire site to improve site navigation and to make it easier for visitors to find the information they need. Our site designers will then focus on creating responsive pages and elements for a more engaging user experience.
From there, our team will ensure the site is visually striking and aesthetically pleasing by placing engaging pictures and videos throughout the site that correspond to the branding of CTO. This will help ensure that the agency connects with and resonates with their target audience.
As the site comes together, our writers will draft well-targeted content for the new pages of the site. These pieces of content will be fully optimized for local SEO, but we will simultaneously make sure the content is not over-optimized for search engines and is actually well-written for the target audience.
