GOLD COAST, AUSTRALIA — Less than six months after securing Provisional Recognition from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the international federation for men’s and women’s lacrosse is taking yet another significant step forward in its development with the introduction of a new name, logo and brand platform.
The Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) announced today that Adrenalin, Inc. (the sports marketing division of Real FiG Advertising + Marketing), a full-service creative agency with more than two decades of experience developing brand identity systems for some of the most recognizable teams, leagues, and governing bodies in sport, has been selected to undertake a comprehensive rebranding initiative that will support the continued growth of lacrosse globally by celebrating the unique attributes, values, and history of the rapidly-growing sport.
Sports Authority will be removed from Mile High Stadium as the Denver Broncos continue to search for a buyer of the naming rights. At Tuesday’s news conference, Broncos president and CEO Joe Ellis said that the team will take down the signage within the next 10 days.

The name was obvious. So San Diego. The Seals are coming. “Surfacing Soon” is how they put it.
In one of the first tangible representations of progress in the reformation of American cricket governance in the wake of USACA's expulsion at the ICC annual conference in June, ICC Americas has announced that the new governing body being formed to replace USACA will be known as USA Cricket. A new logo representing the new governing body was unveiled on Sunday on the 173rd anniversary of the first international sporting contest between the USA and Canada held in New York City on September 24, 1844.
The longest-running debate around Coors Field has nothing to do with whether the Colorado Rockies should have traded for a starting pitcher, or who is the team’s greatest player of all time. Rather, some of the most passionate debates center around the Rockies’ portly and cuddly mascot, the purple triceratops known only as Dinger.
Chicago has sports teams named after animals, Native Americans, footwear, symbols, combustion -- and now encased meat sandwiches. The Chicago Dogs will play next year in the new $60-million, 6,300-seat ballpark being built in Rosemont, at the corner of Balmoral Avenue and Pearl Street.
